Fineline Designs has recently awarded a contract to provide several highly specialized machines for the processing of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete.

This hydraulically operated machine has twin mold forms.  The end doors swing up to allow for the carts that transport the concrete to enter.  Then the end and side door close on the cart to form a rectangular box 20'x4'x'4'.  The concrete slurry mixture is then metered into the mold frame, and allowed to harden.  Once the concrete form has reached a proper consistency, the doors are opened and the cart with the concrete cake continues down the line.

This air operated machine provides a precise mesh of high tension wires through its interior.  The cart containing the concrete cake travels down the line and is dragged through the interior of this machine's framework, thereby cutting the cake into fixed block sizes.

After the block has been cut laterally from the fixed cutter, it is then cut cross-ways using this machine.

The cart containing the concrete cake is positioned in the center of this machine.  An oscillating drive unit then runs which operate a series of high tension wires in a cross-cutting fashion.  The entire interior frame containing these oscillating wires then moves downward slowly, cutting the block.  Once the block is cut through, the interior frame is raised, and the cart proceeds down the line.   Movement of the interior frame is controlled by a hydraulic power unit.
